DX2 PRO: VW/AUDI DSG Gear & Engine Data Display

The TIRINI DX2 PRO is a compact 2.8" inch touchscreen display developed for supported Volkswagen and Audi DSG vehicles, combining the race-style gear and RPM interface with advanced engine-data monitoring.

DX2 (PRO Version) can be purchased as a complete display or permanently unlocked from the DX2 CORE version at any time. Existing CORE owners can activate all PRO features without replacing the display or purchasing additional hardware.

No computer is required for setup or configuration. Vehicle selection, individual shift points, gauges, analog-input calibration, layouts, alarms, colours, brightness and all other PRO settings are configured directly from its touchscreen.

Its racing-inspired, motorsport-grade resin enclosure, large gear display and five integrated RGB shift lights deliver fast, clear access to gear, RPM and engine data in a compact format designed for performance-focused interiors.

Standalone Analog Sequential Gearbox Input

DX2 PRO unlocks the configurable analog input for use with sequential gearboxes and other position-sensing applications.

• Compatible with potentiometer-based gear-position sensors
• Compatible with Hall-effect position sensors
• Compatible with variable-resistance sensors
• Sensor reference voltage supplied directly by the DX2
• No separate sensor controller or external reference-voltage supply required
• Standalone installation without an ECU or existing CAN Bus gear signal
• Configure and calibrate sensor ranges directly from its touchscreen
• Assign individual voltage or resistance ranges to each gear
• Display the calculated sequential gearbox position in real time

No computer is required for sensor calibration. Analog-input configuration, sensor-range calibration and gear assignment are completed directly from its touchscreen.

Upgrade When You Are Ready

DX2 PRO can be permanently upgraded to DX2 TUNER. Upgrading unlocks the complete CAN Bus, OBD and UDS development environment while retaining the original display, enclosure and connections.

IMPORTANT - PRO VERSION OF THE DX2 DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• It will NOT provide raw CAN Bus monitoring or recording
• It will NOT create, edit or transmit custom CAN messages
• It will NOT provide OBD or UDS data-discovery tools
• It will NOT create or send custom OBD or UDS diagnostic requests
• It will NOT provide raw-data graphs or recorded-log exports
• It will NOT provide minimum and maximum value memory
• It will NOT provide complete custom vehicle-profile creation
• It will NOT provide custom startup logos, splash screens or branding tools
• It will NOT use the analog input to trigger customised CAN messages
• It will NOT transmit customised CAN messages from analog-input events or alarm conditions

Analog-input CAN events, custom CAN messages and the remaining advanced development functions can be permanently unlocked later through a DX2 PRO to TUNER software upgrade.

DX2 PRO remains completely standalone after installation. A computer is not required to configure or edit any function available in the PRO version. Vehicle settings, gauges, alarms, layouts, shift lights and analog-input calibration are completed directly from its touchscreen. A computer is only used when installing firmware updates.

The DX2 platform is under continuous development, with improvements, new vehicle profiles, supported engine data and additional functionality introduced through future firmware releases.

Future firmware feature: SimHub gear, RPM and RGB shift-light support is planned for a future DX2 firmware update and is not available in firmware version 1.18.

Available engine data and compatibility depend on the selected vehicle and installed profile. DQ500 compatibility is currently under development and is not included in firmware version 1.18.
