DX2 CORE: VW/AUDI DSG Race-Style Gear Display

The TIRINI DX2 is a compact 2.8" inch touchscreen display developed specifically for supported Volkswagen and Audi DSG vehicles.

DX2 (CORE Version) is fully software-upgradeable to DX2 PRO or DX2 TUNER at any time. Advanced engine data, additional layouts and development tools can be permanently unlocked later without replacing the display or purchasing additional hardware.

No computer is required for setup or configuration. Vehicle selection, RPM limits, shift lights, colours, brightness and all other basic settings are configured directly from its touchscreen.

Its racing-inspired, motorsport-grade resin enclosure, large gear display and five integrated RGB shift lights deliver fast, clear access to gear and RPM in a compact format designed for performance-focused interiors.

Upgrade When You Are Ready

DX2 CORE can be permanently upgraded to DX2 PRO or directly to DX2 TUNER. Upgrading unlocks additional software functions while retaining the original display, enclosure and connections.

IMPORTANT - CORE VERSION OF THE DX2 DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• It will NOT display diagnostic engine data
• It will NOT send custom OBD or UDS diagnostic requests
• It will NOT include Launch Control detection program
• It will NOT provide individual RPM shift points for each gear
• It will NOT include additional Race & Rally-inspired layouts
• It will NOT provide access to the analog ignition or sequential gearbox input
• It will NOT provide sensor reference voltage for a standalone sequential gearbox installation
• It will NOT provide CAN Bus monitoring, recording or custom-message transmission
• It will NOT provide data graphs, recorded logs or minimum and maximum value memory
• It will NOT provide custom vehicle-profile creation or custom branding

These advanced functions can be permanently unlocked later through a DX2 PRO or DX2 TUNER software upgrade.

DX2 CORE remains completely standalone after installation. A computer is not required to configure or edit any function available in the CORE version. All adjustments are completed directly from its touchscreen. A computer is only used when installing firmware updates.

The DX2 platform is under continuous development, with improvements, new vehicle profiles and additional functionality introduced through future firmware releases.

Future firmware feature: SimHub gear, RPM and RGB shift-light support is planned for a future DX2 firmware update and is not available in firmware version 1.18.

Compatibility depends on the selected vehicle and transmission profile. DQ500 compatibility is currently under development and is not included in firmware version 1.18.
